1923 - Was born on the 5th November.
1942 - Started to learn with M Waldemar in Corta Braço.
1947 - His son Arival was born on the 26th April.
1948 - On 11th April appears on Verger's photos in M Waldemar's roda in Corta Braço.
1953 - João Grande met him in Waldemar's hut*.
1954 - Participated in the recording of Vadiação of A. Robatto (photos below).
1955 - Appears on the cover photo of Simone Dreyfus-Roche's LP. Also on one of the photos of João Martins in Mário Cravo's house.
1984 - Participated in M Camisa's event in Circo Voador, Rio de Janeiro together with mestres João Pequeno and Mucungê.
1986 - Participated in the GCAP's II Workshop.
1987 - Participated in the GCAP's III Workshop.
1997 - Participated in the GCAP's XI Workshop (video below).
1998 - From 25th to 29th March participated in the III Encontro dos Guardiões da Capoeira Angola da Bahia of ACANNE in Fazenda Grande do Retiro. Listen to the ladainha that he sang there below.
1999 - M Barba Branca talks about him in an interview**. The Zacarias Boa Morte School on the Peixe Avenue, Nº 153 in Pero Vaz, Salvador was founded on the 19th May.
2000 - Died on the 3rd November.
