Zeca, also known as Gatinho or Gato III, José Souza Góes, son of master Gato Preto, has passed away.

1956 - Born on April 16th.
1963 - Started capoeira with his father.
1969 - On March 26th, together with his father and older brother Gato II (Sinésio Souza Góes) appeared in a presentation in Brasília see here .
1974 - Together with M Mala and M Mau (student of M Cobrinha Verde) he founded the Capoeira association 3 Amigos and the Filhos de Oxalá Folk Group. That year he also participated in an event in São Paulo see here .
1976 - Alongside his father he appeared at the American Folklore Festival (African Diaspora) see here . That year he also appeared on some photos together with M Sandoval (see below).
2002 - Visited the Capoeira Meia Lua Group at the Centro de Ensino Médio Setor Leste-Cemsl, Brasília, Federal District, on October 7th (see below).
2024 - Passed away on March 25th.
